Training Committee & Calendar
The Training Committee is a sub-committee of the Forsyth County Fire and Rescue Association. This committee is charged with the responsibility of coordinating all countywide certification training, specialty classes, training materials and annual training calendar.

The Training Committee also plans and conducts the Piedmont Fire Expo which assists in funding the annual training programs.

The officers of the Training Committee consist of a chairman, vice chairman and secretary. Membership on the training committee consists of representatives from each department who have a genuine interest in training issues. Meetings are held as needed based upon class schedules and events. The training committee has been in place since the 1950’s and has a reputation of a “silent workhorse” who has diligently provided revenue and programs year after year.
